Generative AI: It’s All About How We Use It

AI Tech Circle

Hey Reader!

This week was dominated by the development of the Nvidia GTC 2024 conference. The keynote was exceptional, and it made me think about what is coming in the future.

In the GTC keynote, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang described a new industrial revolution powered by NVIDIA data center technologies, software services, and automotive and robotics innovations. He explained and demonstrated the revolutionary capabilities of generative AI, outlining advances in semiconductors and software, services, simulation, and medical technology. He also shared details of partnerships with Oracle, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Siemens, and other leading organizations.

Now, when it comes to Generative AI, so much is happening. where we have seen Grok LLM from X to what Sam Altman envisions about AGI during his podcast appearance.

The critical question is how to utilize this transformational technology in business.

Now, after so many months, I have pretty good resources on generative AI, so I thought I would put them together, and that is how this guide or ebook was created. Your Guide to Generative AI Use Cases Across Industries is a curated list of many use cases that can assist you in getting the idea and then working further on it to refine and make it useful for your organization. Weekly News & Updates…

This week’s AI breakthroughs mark another leap forward in the tech revolution.

  1. Grok Large Language Model from Twitter is released as open source
  2. Stable Video 3D, a generative model based on Stable Video Diffusion. This new model advances 3D technology, delivering significantly improved quality and multi-view.
  3. Scalable Instructable Multiworld Agent (SIMA) that can follow natural-language instructions to perform tasks in various video game settings. A generalist AI agent for 3D virtual environments. It can complete tasks like a human and outperform an agent trained in one setting.
  4. Embed 6M Wikipedia articles so you can build search and recommendation engines customized to your business. Build it in 14 minutes and 50 lines of code. All for $3

The Cloud: the backbone of the AI revolution

Favorite Tip Of The Week:

Here’s my favorite resource of the week.

Potential of AI

  • GR00T is a general-purpose foundation model for humanoid robot learning. It will enable a robot to understand multimodal instructions, such as language, video, and demonstration, and perform various practical tasks. GR00T is born on NVIDIA’s deep technology stack. It is simulated in Isaac Lab (new app on Omniverse Isaac Sim for humanoid learning), trained on OSMO (new compute orchestration system to scale up models), and deployed to Jetson Thor (new edge GPU chip designed to power GR00T)
  • TacticAI: an AI assistant for football tactics It is capable of offering insights to football experts on corner kicks

Things to Know

  • RAG 2.0 is an end-to-end system for developing production-grade AI. It is based on a set of Contextual Language Models (CLMs), which achieve state-of-the-art performance on various industry benchmarks. Compared to other approaches RAG, which stitches frozen models, vector databases, and embeddings, this system is optimized end to end.

The Opportunity…
